     The Pit Indoor Kart Racing is one of North Carolina's premier entertainment destinations. Located just 30 minutes north of downtown Charlotte, The Pit Indoor Kart Racing offers over 140,000sq-ft of floor space providing excitement for any age group including birthday parties, group events, and corporate events.

Our go karts are not watered-down amusement rides. We offer world-renowned Sodi RX7 racing go karts capable of speeds over 45 MPH. Our huge 70,000sq-ft go kart track offers 20-challenging turns on a 20-foot wide track all the way around.

Besides go kart racing, The Pit offers over 40 arcade games, 4 billiard tables, a 3,600sq-ft laser tag arena, a baseball training room, large viewing area overlooking the kart track with free Wi-Fi and 6 wide-screen tvs, cool private party rooms, a fully-furnished executive conference room, and a large banquet room.

Go Kart Racing: We have 20 Sodi RX7 adult go karts and 10 Sodi youth go karts. These are NOT your typical watered-down amusement karts. Capable of speeds over 45 MPH, these Sodi racing go karts are unquestionably the best adrenaline rush you can have without the high costs of professional racing.

Huge Go Kart Track: Our 70,000sq-ft go kart track is one of the largest single indoor go kart tracks in the country. At just over 1/3rd of a mile in length, the go kart track offers a variety of 20 challenging turns. Special care went into the track design so it would challenge the best road-course specialists, yet still be fun for novices. What separates our indoor go kart track from the rest is the 20-foot width all the way around the track. Our 22-foot wide front straightaway allows for exciting grid starts as well as rolling starts with our pace kart. Simply put, more room on track means more passing, more speed, and more of that adrenaline rush.

Arcade & Billiards: Over 40 arcade games and 4 billiards tables. Many of the games award tickets which can be redeemed for tons of cool prizes at the front counter.

Laser Tag Arena: Prepare for battle in our 3,600 sq-ft laser tag arena where up to 20 people can play at once. Illuminated by 72 black lights, the arena looks even better with the fog machine and sounds amazing with a bass-pounding surround system.

Baseball Training Room: Our 10,000sq-ft Baseball Training Room is the perfect place to maximize your team's potential while staying affordable. Weather is never a problem and with our location only 30 minutes from Charlotte NC, The Pit is an easy practice destination to get to.

Large Viewing Area: Offers a great view overlooking the go kart track and has free Wi-Fi. There's plenty of seating for large groups and a separate elevated platform that is perfect for kicking back and watching your favorite sport on the 6 wide-screen tvs.
