A common misconception is you have a better chance of getting hired if you have driving/racing experience. Driving experience isn’t what is needed to work at The Pit; we prefer hard-working individuals who are customer friendly and have a positive attitude.

SALES REPRESENTATIVE

We are seeking sales representatives that can bring customers to us.  This includes corporate events, family days, and groups of all types.

Responsibilities for this position include, but not limited to:

  Develop corporate business through direct contact with customers and potential customers.

  Generate leads through cold calling, attending Chamber of Commerce events and meetings and other local organization meetings.

  Selling advertising and sponsorships including kart sponsorships, wall banners, result sheet advertisements, track displays, etc.

  Selling and assisting in planning exclusive corporate events.

  Selling and assisting in planning exclusive parties, banquets and receptions.

  Develop long term relationships working with customers in person, via telephone, fax, and e-mail.

  Work with and coordinate sales opportunities with Management.

  Provide weekly sales reports.

  Attend mandatory weekly sales review meetings at The Pit.  Be prepared to review weekly activities and opportunities.

  Exhibit professionalism and provide the highest in customer satisfaction.

  Perform post-event follow ups with customers to ensure satisfaction and promote future events.

Job Requirements:

  1 year sales experienced in a Family Entertainment Center (FEC) type environment or similar entertainment venue.

  Must be at least 18 years old.

  Provide own transportation.

  Outgoing, friendly personality.

  Flexible hours to attend functions as a representative of The Pit Indoor Kart Racing.

SUPERVISOR

We are seeking supervisors who can oversee the entire operations.

Responsibilities for this position include, but not limited to:

  Working nights and weekends regularly.

  Supervising the assignment and performance of the staff.

  Ensuring events are executed successfully.

  Dealing with customer complaints and comments.

  Inventory control for merchandise.

  Ability to manage and oversee all aspects of the facility during business hours.

Job Requirements:

The following are minimum job experience requirements to apply for this position:

  1 year supervisory experience dealing with 5+ employees under your direct supervision.

  1 year experience in a position that deals directly with the public (customers).

  1 year experience with Point of Sales (cash register) systems.
